Finding the best commercial battery charger can be challenging.
However, there seem to be many available, with the majority of them with mixed reviews.
I have put together what I think are the best options to consider.
I have kept these recommendations limited to keep things simple and not overcomplicate things.
Nobody wants a dead or failed battery.
It’s a pain.
But even for home use, a commercial charger is the way to go and will get you out of a bad spot with a quick charge.
These are designed to power several vehicles, not just one at a time.
They are more than capable of recharging batteries for cars, trucks, ATVs, and even boats. So let’s dive right in.

Best Commercial Battery Charger To Consider
I have short-listed 5 of the battery chargers for industrial use below.
They each vary in specs, budget, and overall performance, but I’m sure one of these will fit the bill.
If you have any questions, be sure to comment below at the end of this page.
Associated Equipments 6002B (Best Overall)
If you are looking for one a battery charger for commercial use, you should consider the 6002B.
The 6002B is perfect for anyone who needs a high-powered commercial charger to power a fleet of vehicles.
For example, if you have a fleet shop that services a wide range of vehicles from small compact cars to 24ft Box Trucks.
The charger mentioned above has 6v & 12v charges; this one goes right up to 24 volts.
The fan cooling system stops this from overheating, allowing you to keep charging.
The Associated Equipments 6002B price is more on the high side, but when you are buying a charger for commercial use, that’s to be expected when you need something reliable and used regularly.
You can pick up the 6002B for just over $700 (Check Latest Price Here).
I would say it is a bit negative because they don’t provide the best instructions, to be honest, and there’s not a whole pile of help online either.
It’s a bit of pity; however, any person with some experience using a heavy-duty charger should manage to operate this at ease.
I also don’t like that Associated Equipments only provides a 1-year warranty and requires the customer to pay the freight and related charges.
Battery Tender 10-Bank Charger (Best All Rounder)
The Battery Tender 10-Bank Charger is one of the best industrial battery chargers you can buy.
Although this option isn’t strictly industrial or heavy-duty to look at, I still think it’s worth considering.
This battery is a fully automatic, constant-current 12v battery charger.
What that means is it will automatically switch to float/maintenance voltage after fully charging the battery.
If you need a battery charger for commercial use, the Battery Tender 10 Bank Charger is perfect for automotive, motorcycle, and marine repair and maintenance shops.
Although very popular for commercial use, it’s pretty popular for people who store away their vehicles, bikes, and boats for periods of the year (i.e., winter) and need them to maintain a charge.
What I love about this charger is that it doesn’t require any supervision.
Once you connect the battery, it will manage the battery health on its own, which is excellent.
This charger is very safe; it will not activate output voltage until clips are correctly connected to the battery.
The Battery Tender 10-Bank Charger is a good fit for anyone who requires commercial use or has many vehicles at home, particularly older cars.
It must be noted about the size and dimensions also.
This charger weighs a mere 13lbs and is a size of 25 x 13 x 13 inches but has 10 independent charging stations – I think that’s pretty amazing.
The only major downside with this charger is the price. You will expect to pay just shy of $1400 for this.

Schumacher DSR131 (Best Mid Range)
The Schumacher DSR131 is an excellent commercial battery charger.
What makes the DSR131 so good is how quickly it revives dead batteries using the boosting mode.
The DSR131 charges all major types of batteries, including Gel, AGM, and deep cycle batteries.
This heavy-duty battery is great for charging all types of vehicles, including SUVs and trucks.
Using its float mode monitoring will automatically maintain your vehicle’s optimum charge.
The commercial battery offers controlled charging; using their multi-stage charging increases safety and extends battery life.
The pull-up handle and wheels make this easily mobile for moving from the garage to your vehicle or moving around the workshop.
A problem I have with the charger is that some new customers have recently complained about receiving this unit with missing parts or that the charger itself has been previously used.
Product quality mustn’t be ignored, and if Schumacher is sending customers used or damaged products, it’s not good; I’m not sure why their customer standards appear to have dropped.
I can only put it down to the pandemic, and it’s difficult getting new parts and stock in, but I could be wrong. Price HERE!
CHARGE IT! 4735 (Best For Very Small Or Personal Work Shop)
If you are looking for an everyday battery charger at home, maybe one of the cheaper options, the CHARGE IT! 4735, might be best suited.
This could work well if you are a small garage that might not require its use very often; maybe a panel beater or car sprayer perhaps.
But if you need to charge a fleet, for example, I would choose the Associated Equipments 6002B instead – (Check Latest Price Here).
With multiple charging rates perfect for 6/12 volt batteries, you can use the Charge IT 4725 for charges up to 200 amps.
The wheeled design makes it easy to move around the garage
Be sure to read some reviews on Amazon for the Charge IT! range.
Overall I like the design of the 4735.
The heavy-duty design fits into any small garage or personal workshop.
I do like the color black with contrasting yellow.
Truck PAC ES1224 (Best Portable Option)
If you are looking for a good commercial battery charger that’s small and compact, this might be the right one for you.
The Truck PAC ES1224 is versatile and easy to use, making it a great charger starter for trucks, SUVs, and vans.
It delivers 3000 peak amps (12V) to start a 14 Liter diesel engine or 1500 peak amps (24V) to start an 8-liter gasoline engine.
The Truck PAC ES1224 is designed specifically for vehicle jump starting with dual 12 Volt batteries that deliver maximum starting power in one unit, and you can switch from 12 to 24 Volts with the turn of a knob.
The Truck PAC ES1224 has some premium features worth mentioning, such as automatic recharging, Industrial Grade Hot Jaw Clamps to ensure maximum power transfer to the vehicle while charging, as well an extra-long 60″ Cables.
One other added feature worth mentioning is the Advanced Warning System (AWS) which alerts you of any unsafe jump-starting conditions.
The ES1224 also comes with a wall AC, so you can leave this plugged in all the time.
This is small, packs a punch as is also very durable with the impact-resistant case.
Even though this is more of a portable jump starter, I thought it’s worth mentioning as many of you might need a large charger to be dragging around the workshop.
You can pick this up for around $320 (Check the latest price here).
